Meters, poles and wires

Your electricity is connected to your home by poles and wires and your electricity use is measured with meters. These are all on your property and it helps to be aware of them.

Our meter readers need access to your meters, and there are things that get in the way, such as locked gates and, sometimes ,dogs. You may also be interested in learning to read your own meter so you can track your energy use.
