Our Connection Guarantee

If you are reconnecting supply and advise us prior to 3pm on any day we will connect you no later than the next business day provided that the reconnection does not involve changes to the supply and that everything is in order.

If reconnection of your premise does involve changes to your service we will make connection within ten business days.

If you are connecting newly constructed premises then you should allow up to ten business days provided that we have access your builder or electrician has given the all-clear and that we don't have to change our distribution network (if this is the case it may take longer – up to 12 weeks).

If your installation has not had the electricity supply connected for a period greater than six months you will be required to have a safety inspection by a licensed electrical contractor. Aurora cannot connect your electricity supply until we receive a notice from your electrical contractor.

If supply to your premises involves the construction of new lines or substations call us on 1300 13 7008. We will negotiate and agree on a date for connection.
