Late Payments

Aurora has a late payment fee of $5 plus interest for those customers who do not pay their accounts in full by the due date and have not contacted Aurora prior to that date to agree on a deferred payment arrangement. If a late fee is incurred, it will appear on the statement for the following quarter.

The following customers are exempt from the fee:

  • customers with an agreed payment plan in place
  • customers using EasyPay
  • customers receiving pensioner concessions
  • customers receiving healthcare discounts
  • customers on life support

If you cannot pay your account in full by the due date, phone the Call Centre on 1300 13 2003 to arrange a mutually agreeable payment arrangement and avoid the late payment fee.
