Q. Who is Aurora Energy?
A. Aurora is based in Tasmania. We operate in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Asutralia. We are solid and reliable–owned by the Tasmanian Government with assets of over $1 billion. Aurora has an exceptional skills base in all facets of electricity distribution, maintenance and electricity and gas retailing. Our contracting skills are also recognised Australia-wide, as is our service ethic.

Q. Where does your energy come from?
A. Like all other retailers in Australia we buy our energy through AEMO – Australian Energy Market Operator.
Q. Which states do you operate in?
A. We currently provide standard contract offers to customers in Tasmania and Victoria. We also hold licenses in NSW, QLD and SA where we offer specialised products for very large customers.
Q. Do you have customers outside of Tasmania have account managers?
A. Each large business customer is individually account managed and receives personalised service. Our account managers are professionals who pride themselves on a high level of service delivery and professionalism. We take ownership of customer issues and deliver what you’ve been promised.
Q. Do you provide electronic billing?
A. Yes, we bill electronically and provide you with a hard copy as well. You can also use Aurora’s online services to manage your account.
Q. Who are your customers?
A. Our national customers are single and multi-site companies from all industry groups across Australia.
Q. Will you assist with quality of supply/reliability issues?
Yes. We will assist our customers where possible. The account managers assigned to your bill will liaise with your network service providers on your behalf to ensure that the best possible quality and reliability of supply is available.

A. Your account will be transferred promptly and efficiently by experienced people so you can get back to running your business.
Q. Is your pricing competitive?
A. Yes. We offer customised and commercially attractive solutions with competitive electricity prices.
Q. Can I buy green energy from Aurora?
A. Yes. We are Australia's largest retailer of renewable energy with a large proportion of our customers using energy generated from renewable hydro sources. Aurora offers business customers the chance to purchase AuroraGreen GreenPower.
