Tasdance
Tasdance is Tasmania's only contemporary dance company. Established in 1974, it was the first regional dance company in Australia, and one of its first trained dancers was Graeme Murphy, who is now the Patron of Tasdance.
Aurora supports Tasdance develop emerging dancers through the Aurora-Tasdance Education program. College aged students are encouraged to participate in special workshops and are then invited to audition for the performance. The performance travels the State and offers the students an insite into the performing arts.
